Consumer Protection Act 2019
The Consumer Protection Bill, 1986 seeks to provide for better protection of the interests of consumers and for the purpose, to make provision for the establishment of Consumer councils and other authorities for the settlement of consumer disputes and for matters connected therewith. And also making a number of amendments in the law relating to the prevention of adulteration of drugs and rules regarding registration court procedures civil remedies execution proceedings further to amend the Drugs And Cosmetics Act, 1940 with respect to similar matters.
